Joining Hands at Crider Creek

Shane & Ashley Summer of 2021.

A wife from Crider Valley and a husband from Pine Creek, joining hands to become Crider Creek Cattle.

This ranch began the way many good things do. Slowly. Honestly. Rooted in where we come from.

After serving 21 years in the United States Air Force, Shane returned home to Pine Creek with a pull he couldn’t ignore. He is a fourth-generation rancher, shaped by the land, the work, and the responsibility that comes with both. Ranching isn’t a career choice for him. It’s a continuation.

I came from Crider Valley with a different kind of calling. An entrepreneurial spirit, a business background, and a constant itch to build something meaningful and creative. I was searching for a venture that made sense on paper and felt right in my bones.

Crider Creek Cattle came to life in the winter of 2021, at the intersection of those two paths.

Because our story is tied so closely to the land and family history, it’s important to clarify how we operate. Crider Creek Cattle works alongside Pine Creek Ranches, not separate from it. Pine Creek Ranches is the generational ranch Shane returned home to, and Crider Creek Cattle operates in partnership with that operation, carrying the work forward under a shared stewardship of the land.

This journal is a place for us to share the real story. The seasons, the setbacks, the decisions, and the gratitude that never quite fits into a product description.

Thank you for choosing us to provide quality meat for you and your family. We don’t take that trust lightly, and we’re truly thankful for every customer who has become part of this journey.

Until next time,

Ashley
